Four States Classic Spring Turnout Replacement Female Sale

Nervous excitement was in the air on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Four States Classic “Spring Turnout” Sale in Hope, Arkansas. The Hope Livestock Facility was full of quality cattle and even better people. Close to 400 head of quality replacement females were on display and ready to head to new pastures. 

 

Sale averages are as follows:

131 Cow/calf pairs $1,807

38 Bred cows $1,324

56 Fall bred heifers $1,758

159 Opens $1,391

 

When three True F-1 Tigerstripe pairs walked into the ring, it didn’t take long for the crowd to start bidding. These high selling pairs brought $2,600 per head and were consigned by Dustin Rayburn. The high selling pairs were purchased by Ismael Hernandez.

 

High selling bred heifers were purchased by Jose Miranda for $2,175 per head. These three Brangus heifers were five months bred to a Seedstock plus Balancer bull, and were consigned by Stephens Brothers. 

 

Southern Arkansas University brought some beautiful true F-1 open heifers that brought $1,950 per head. Winfred Sorrells bought all three lots of the SAU F-1 heifers.
